Stacey – Queenstown

I’m passionate about learning, growing, and connecting—with people, ideas, and the outdoors. Whether it’s yoga, reading, hiking, mountain biking, or spending time in the water or snow with friends and family.

Living in the Gibbston Valley means I spend a fair bit of time in the car, commuting to work, visiting family in Invercargill, seeing clients, or supporting our daughter’s many social and sporting activities. That means I listen to a lot of podcasts. I’m always happy to share my current favourites and take recommendations!

Professionally, I’ve spent over 20 years in the financial sector, most of that in Central Otago with BNZ. I’m now an Investment Adviser at Craigs Investment Partners, where I craft investment solutions and provide advice to individuals, families, companies, and trusts—whether they’re new or experienced investors.   I’m passionate about increasing financial literacy and making investing accessible and understandable, especially for women.   Financial knowledge can be truly transformative.

Before joining Altrusa, I found myself thinking about how I could contribute more meaningfully to the community I’ve called home since 2008. Then, twice in one week, Altrusa appeared, once during a blood donation at St Margaret’s Church in Frankton, and again through a Facebook post. A lovely chat with two Altrusa members (possibly aided by a little blood loss ) led to a warm invitation. Kate stayed in touch, and I was able to attend some meetings. My experiences have been welcoming, thoughtful, and inspiring.

So here I am—learning, growing, connecting, and serving.

Thank you for welcoming me into your fabulous community.
